KAREN MILLEN LOVES… Monochrome Tribal

Sleek shapes, slim silhouettes and the occasional full skirt give fashion hints for the coming season. Digital printing techniques, textured knits and bold embroidery combine with urban monochrome to create one of this season’s biggest trends.

Gemma Metheringham, Creative & Managing Director

Pattern is a significant part of Monochrome Tribal and the traditional markings of historic tribes have been reworked and digitalized to create a visually stunning range of dresses and separates in bold black and white.

Found as an all over print on the monochrome dress in Karen Millen’s signature pencil skirt style or more subtly, print is layered underneath the monochrome draped dress for a more discreet and understated shape.

The crochet biker jacket gives a softer dimension to the collection.

The monochrome tribal print shoe and the all over bold print mini bag are vibrant pieces that allow us all to dip into this trend, working brilliantly to liven up and give added interest to simpler pared down looks.

  1. I really love the clean lines and geometric shapes. I am big on graphic pieces, and the asymmetrical patterned dresses are just amazing.
